Maybe you have a babysitter. Maybe you are a nanny. Have you attended some of the neighborhood's children in high school to get some money? Did you move with the family and become a nanny? Some people immediately know the difference between the two terms. Some might think they are interchangeable, but in fact they are really two distinct functions completely.
Baby sitter. Maybe we had one when we were young, beautiful girl or a boy down the street who came regularly when mom and dad went and sat with us, helped us with homework, watching TV With us, put us on the bed. As adults, chances are that we have already hired to take care of our children when we wanted to go for dinner or a movie. They show, they end up with the children, you pay them when you go home and take them home, the end of the story.
This is a babysitter. They take care of the children and look after the children, but are usually private, or maybe a few days of school after the opportunity when parents work late. It is a job that a babysitter can earn a little money, but not the one where there is a tax and legal reasoning. Nurses are paid on time, you can do a great cleaning of the light but basically there is only one supervisor for the elderly minors.
Nanny on the other hand is a person with children for much of their day. They can live with the family or go home everyday, but the freon staff in the family. They are interested in the child's development, physical, mental and emotional well-being, and they love parents with secondary concern for them.
Nanny can take the kids to school, to activities, to Blydits. They can prepare meals, help children who work in school, schedule excursions and excursions to enjoy, and basically what a parent does if he or she is at home. Plus, the nanny to be with the family for years, and not just once or twice a month, as a babysitter can. As such, the nanny actually makes pay, not only to be paid on time, as a babysitter, and yes, it is a profession, so there is legal and tax to go through as well.
What is best for your family depends on how often mom and dad away from home, but each and every great person has a "parenting team".
